Starting from Ende and finishing in Labuan Bajo, this 6-day expedition is perfect for travelers who want to experience the cultural and natural highlights of Flores together with the legendary Komodo dragon within a limited timeframe.

ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrival in Ende & Kelimutu – Bajawa

Airport pickup in Ende followed by early visit to Kelimutu to witness the spectacular sunrise over the famous Three Colored Lakes, a rare volcanic phenomenon where each crater lake displays different colors due to mineral reactions, continue visiting Moni Village at the foot of Kelimutu, then scenic drive across Flores highlands toward Bajawa, check-in hotel and overnight in Bajawa.

Day 2 – Bajawa – Ruteng

Visit Bena Traditional Village, a preserved Ngada tribal village known for its ancestral houses and megalithic stones with Mount Inerie as backdrop, relax at Malanage Hot Spring surrounded by tropical forest, continue overland drive to Ruteng, stop at Liang Bua, the archaeological site where Homo floresiensis fossils were discovered, check-in hotel and overnight in Ruteng.

Day 3 – Ruteng – Wae Rebo

Visit Cancar Spider Web Rice Fields featuring the unique spider-web-shaped rice field pattern reflecting Manggarai traditional land division, drive to Denge Village, begin 2–3 hour trekking route to Wae Rebo, a remote mountain village famous for its cone-shaped Mbaru Niang houses, participate in traditional welcoming ceremony and overnight in a traditional house.

Day 4 – Wae Rebo – Labuan Bajo

Enjoy sunrise over the mountain landscape of Wae Rebo, trek down to Denge Village, scenic drive to Labuan Bajo with coastal and hill views, stop at sunset viewpoint overlooking the Flores Sea, check-in hotel and overnight in Labuan Bajo.

Day 5 – Komodo National Park Boat Trip

Full-day island hopping in Komodo National Park starting with sunrise trekking at Padar Island offering iconic panoramic views, continue to Komodo Island for guided ranger walk to see Komodo dragons in their natural habitat, relax at Pink Beach with its rare pink sand, snorkeling at Taka Makassar, and swim at Manta Point where manta rays are frequently spotted depending on sea conditions, return to Labuan Bajo and overnight at hotel.

Day 6 – Departure

Free time until transfer to airport for departure. End of Trip.
