The Flores & Komodo Tour 7 Days 6 Nights is an immersive expedition across the cultural heartland and marine wilderness of Flores. This carefully curated journey blends highland exploration, traditional villages, scenic landscapes, and wildlife encounters in Komodo National Park.
From the cool mountain town of Ruteng to the UNESCO-recognized village of Wae Rebo, and onward to the legendary Komodo dragons of Rinca Island, this 7-day adventure offers a complete West Flores experience.
Travel Itinerary
- Day 1 – Labuan Bajo – Ruteng
- Morning flight from Bali to Labuan Bajo.
- Warm welcome by our local English-speaking guide.
- Visit Cunca Plias Waterfall in Langgo Village.
- Scenic drive along the Trans-Flores Highway.
- Stop at Lembor Rice Fields, the largest rice fields in West Flores.
- Visit the iconic Spider Web Rice Field (Cancar), a unique Manggarai agricultural system.
- Arrive in Ruteng for check-in and overnight stay.
- Day 2 – Ruteng – Liang Bua – Ruteng Pu’u
- Explore Liang Bua Cave, the archaeological site of Homo floresiensis (the “Hobbit”).
- Visit Ruteng Pu’u Traditional Village to observe Manggarai traditional houses and culture.
- Return to hotel and overnight in Ruteng.
- Day 3 – Ruteng – Todo – Narang – Dintor – Denge
- Journey to Todo Village, former center of the Manggarai Kingdom.
- Soft trekking through rice terraces near Narang Village with panoramic views.
- Continue to the south coast through Dintor and Denge Village.
- Overnight stay in Denge Village.
- Day 4 – Denge – Wae Rebo Village (UNESCO Heritage Site)
- Morning trek (approximately 2–3 hours) to Wae Rebo Village.
- Traditional welcoming ceremony upon arrival.
- Explore the iconic cone-shaped Mbaru Niang houses.
- Learn about local traditions and daily life of the Manggarai people.
- Overnight in Wae Rebo traditional house.
- Day 5 – Wae Rebo – Labuan Bajo
- Breakfast in the village surrounded by mountain scenery.
- Trek back to Denge Village.
- Drive back to Labuan Bajo (approximately 4–5 hours).
- Hotel check-in and free evening.
- Day 6 – Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island – Kelor Island – Labuan Bajo
- Morning sailing trip to Rinca Island.
- Guided trekking to see Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat.
- Encounter other wildlife such as buffalo, deer, wild boars, monkeys, and tropical birds.
- Lunch onboard.
- Continue to Kelor Island for snorkeling and relaxation.
- Return to Labuan Bajo for overnight stay.
- Day 7 – Labuan Bajo – Departure
- Morning visit to Wae Kesambi Traditional Market.
- Explore Batu Cermin (Mirror Cave).
- Transfer to Komodo International Airport for flight to Bali, Jakarta, Surabaya, Kuala Lumpur, or Singapore.
- End of tour.
