The Wae Rebo Tour 4 Days 3 Nights offers an unforgettable journey into the heart of Flores, where culture, nature, and adventure come together in one immersive experience. Starting from Labuan Bajo, this overland adventure leads you deep into the Manggarai highlands to visit the UNESCO-recognized traditional village of Wae Rebo.

Surrounded by lush mountains and mist-covered valleys, Wae Rebo is one of Indonesia’s most unique living heritage sites — a place where ancient traditions remain beautifully preserved.

Destinations & Itinerary

Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Denge Village

Upon arrival at Komodo Airport, our local guide will welcome you and transfer you to a local restaurant for lunch. Afterward, begin the scenic drive to Denge Village (approximately 6 hours).

On the way, stop at Lembor to admire the largest rice fields on Flores Island—an ideal photo opportunity with sweeping green landscapes. Continue your journey to Denge Village, where dinner and an overnight stay will be arranged at a local house.

Day 2: Denge – Wae Rebo Village

After an early breakfast at 05:30 AM, begin your trek to Wae Rebo Village. The hike starts through lush tropical rainforest, with the first stop at Wae Lomba Creek after about one hour—perfect for a short rest while enjoying the forest atmosphere and birdsong.

Continue trekking to Pocoroko (Post 2), a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of the Savu Sea. The next stop is Nampe Bakok, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Wae Rebo nestled among the mountains.

Arrive at Wae Rebo around midday. Lunch and dinner will be served in the village. Spend the afternoon exploring the traditional cone-shaped houses (Mbaru Niang), interacting with villagers, and learning about the unique Manggarai culture.

Overnight in a traditional communal house for a truly authentic cultural experience.

Day 3: Wae Rebo – Denge – Labuan Bajo

Wake up to the peaceful morning atmosphere of Wae Rebo and observe the villagers’ daily activities. After breakfast, trek back down to Denge via the same route.

Your driver will meet you at the trekking point and transfer you back to Labuan Bajo. Lunch will be served en route in Dintor Village. Arrive in Labuan Bajo in the late afternoon, check in at your hotel, and enjoy dinner.

Overnight stay in Labuan Bajo.

Day 4: Labuan Bajo – Batu Cermin Cave – Airport

After breakfast, visit Batu Cermin Cave (Mirror Stone Cave), known for its impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and reflective rock formations. Enjoy the natural surroundings before your transfer to Komodo Airport for your onward flight to Bali or your next destination.
