Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Floresa Travel. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our services, including but not limited to tour packages, transportation arrangements, accommodation bookings, travel consultations, and other related services provided by Floresa Travel.
By accessing our website, making a reservation, purchasing a travel package, or using any of our services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms & Conditions, you are advised not to use our services.
These Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure clarity, transparency, and mutual understanding between Floresa Travel and our customers. We encourage you to read this document carefully before confirming any booking or transaction.
Floresa Travel reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect upon publication through our official communication channels.
GENERAL INFORMATION
* These Terms & Conditions apply to all tour packages including trips to Komodo National Park and overland tours across Flores.
* By confirming a booking, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
* The tour operator reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
BOOKING & CONFIRMATION
* All reservations must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
* A booking is considered confirmed only after a deposit payment is received.
* Written confirmation (invoice or booking confirmation) will be issued upon receipt of payment.
* Guests are responsible for ensuring that all booking details are correct (name, date, number of participants, etc.).
PAYMENT POLICY
* A deposit (amount informed upon booking) is required to secure the reservation.
* Full payment must be completed before the agreed deadline prior to departure.
* Payments can be made via bank transfer or other agreed payment methods.
* All bank charges and transfer fees are the responsibility of the guest.
* Prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise stated.
* Prices may change before booking confirmation due to fuel price adjustments, government regulations, or operational cost changes.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation by Guest
* More than 14 days before departure: Deposit refundable (excluding administrative/bank fees).
* 7–13 days before departure: 50% of total payment charged.
* Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of total payment charged.
* No-show on departure day: 100% of total payment charged.
Cancellation by Operator
* The operator reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the tour due to unsafe weather conditions, government restrictions, minimum participant requirements (for sharing trips), or safety concerns.
* Guests may choose to reschedule or receive a refund (excluding non-refundable third-party costs).
FORCE MAJEURE
* The operator is not responsible for cancellation, delay, or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, flight cancellations, pandemics, or government regulations.
* Refunds related to force majeure are subject to third-party supplier policies.
ITINERARY CHANGES
* The itinerary may be adjusted due to weather conditions, harbor authority instructions, local ceremonies, or operational considerations.
* No refund will be provided for itinerary adjustments that do not significantly reduce the overall experience.
* Guest safety remains the top priority at all times.
ENTRANCE FEES & GOVERNMENT CHARGES
* Entrance fees for national parks, villages, and tourist sites are subject to change without prior notice.
* Any increase in official entrance fees imposed by the government will be borne by the guest.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
* Travel insurance is not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated.
* Guests are strongly advised to purchase personal travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, trip cancellations, and loss of belongings.
HEALTH & FITNESS
* Guests must ensure they are physically fit to participate in trekking, snorkeling, swimming, and boat activities.
* Any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions must be informed prior to departure.
* The operator reserves the right to refuse participation if a guest’s condition may endanger themselves or others.
RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY
* The operator acts as an intermediary for third-party providers such as boats, hotels, airlines, and transportation services.
* The operator is not liable for personal injury, loss or damage of belongings, flight delays, cancellations, or acts of third parties.
* Participation in all activities is at the guest’s own risk.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
* Guests are fully responsible for their personal belongings during the tour.
* The operator is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
CHILD POLICY & TIPPING POLICY
* Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
* Special rates (if applicable) will be informed upon request.
* Parents or guardians are fully responsible for their children’s safety during the tour.
* Tipping for guides, drivers, and boat crew is not mandatory.
* However, tipping is highly appreciated as a gesture of satisfaction and recognition of good service.
DOCUMENTATION & MEDIA RELEASE
* Photos and videos taken during the trip may be used for promotional purposes (website, social media, and marketing materials).
* Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional materials must inform the operator in writing prior to the trip.
Closing Provisions
By booking, purchasing, or using any services provided by Floresa Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
These Terms & Conditions constitute the full agreement between you and Floresa Travel and supersede any prior discussions, representations, or agreements, whether written or verbal.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Floresa Travel reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will become effective immediately upon publication on our official platforms. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the Terms & Conditions periodically for updates.
Failure by Floresa Travel to enforce any right or provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from or related to the use of Floresa Travel’s services shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Indonesia.
